Houston – Advanced Surgeons & Physicians Network welcomes Rachel Taylor, MHA as Chief Executive Officer.

Advanced Surgeons & Physicians Network (ASPN) is the top multi-specialty physicians, nonprofit (501a) organization that was established by Advanced Diagnostics Healthcare System in Houston. Advanced Diagnostics is an independent, physician-led, and patient-centered organization of hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers in Texas, and Rachel Taylor, MHA now oversees the clinical and administrative operations for the organization’s clinics across both Houston, Dallas and satellite facilities (Beaumont and Valley).

ASPN serves to lighten the administrative burden of independent healthcare professionals so that they can focus on practicing the best medicine instead of managing a practice.

“I am incredibly excited to be here with such a dynamic, high-performing team,” said Taylor. “I am passionate about the unique vision of the clinics and hospitals, which is constantly devoted to the improvement of our patients’ health and wellness we are privileged to serve.”

“Rachel is a seasoned administrator. She has a wealth of knowledge managing outpatient clinics of varying sizes,” says Dr. Raj Thakur, CEO who has been with Advanced Diagnostics Healthcare System since the company’s inception. Dr. Thakur is a diagnostic and interventional radiologist practicing in Houston, Texas for over 20 years and specializes in minimally invasive image guided treatments. “With the rapid growth of our outpatient clinics, Rachel’s experience will be invaluable taking our clinics to the next level.”

Prior to her role with ASPN, Taylor has worked for nearly three decades in healthcare directly for notable organizations such as Millennium Physicians and HCR ManorCare. She most recently served as Assistant Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Memorial Hermann Physician Network, where she established the PCP Network of Patient-Centered Medical Homes and provided the network for Memorial Hermann’s ACO. Taylor’s vast experience in structured collaboration between physicians and hospitals to develop clinical initiatives will serve patients, their families, and the workforce of ASPN well.

Taylor has a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University. She trained as a medical technologist at the Methodist Hospital and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University.
